Our Story

A Cherished Tradition
in Union County

For over two decades, the Union County Farm Show has been one of the Upstate's most beloved community traditions. Now in its 24th year, this free, family-friendly event draws local and nationwide visitors to the Union County Fairgrounds for a full day of agricultural heritage, hands-on demonstrations, and old-fashioned fun.

Founded in 2002 and rooted in the heart of Union County, the Farm Show exists with a simple but powerful mission — To host a yearly farm show. An event committed to preserving the artisanship, history, and skills of agriculture; keeping them alive for future generations to come.

Each year different exhibitors, demonstrators, and vendors come together to provide a day of fun. Previous years included: antique tractors, horse-drawn implements, 4-H blacksmithing, quilt displays, corn shelling, soap and candle making, beekeeping, sausage making, sawmilling, woodcarving, livestock, and so much more — all across 12 acres of the Union County Fairgrounds.

What makes the Farm Show truly special is the community that brings it to life. JROTC cadets volunteer for setup, teardown, and the annual Patriotic Salute. FFA members serve as day-of volunteers and demonstrate tractor skills and animal care. The Kids Sprout Zone offers free games and activities for all ages.

Each year, the committee works hard to add something new — because a show that has been going strong for 24 years never stops growing.

Come as you are. Bring the whole family. And help us keep farming traditions alive for generations to come. Oh and admission is FREE!
